Sarah Deukmejian has over 20 years of experience within Steelscape and our parent company, BlueScope, having held leadership roles both domestically and internationally.
Her deep industry knowledge and collaborative leadership style help guide the company’s long-term strategy. Sarah is committed to building lasting relationships with customers, employees, and the communities where Steelscape operates.

Vice President of Operations
Dmitry Belov brings more than 20 years of international experience in heavy industrial manufacturing and steel operations.
He has held leadership roles at major steel producers across North America and led complex operational expansion projects. Dmitry focuses on driving operational excellence, efficiency, and consistent product quality across Steelscape’s manufacturing facilities.

Vice President of Sales & Customer Service
Mary Wardle is a fourth-generation steel professional with over four decades of experience in the industry.
Her background spans accounting, purchasing, customer service, and sales leadership. As Vice President of Sales & Customer Service, Mary focuses on strengthening customer relationships while actively contributing to the advancement of the steel industry through involvement in associations.
Andrea Wernex-Dennis
Customer Service Manager
Andrea Wernex-Dennis has been part of Steelscape for more than 30 years, serving in roles across business systems, accounting, sales, and customer service.
Her extensive institutional knowledge supports continuous improvement in customer experience. Andrea leads the customer service team with a strong focus on responsiveness, consistency, and service excellence.
Mick Rompa
Plant Manager – Kalama, WA
Mick Rompa brings nearly 20 years of experience in coated steel manufacturing, with roles spanning environmental coordination, material control, and paint line leadership.
He previously served as Plant Manager at another steel manufacturing facility. At Steelscape’s Kalama plant, Mick focuses on safety leadership, operational performance, and high-quality production.
Alonza Lewis
Plant Manager – Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Alonza Lewis has more than 25 years of experience in the steel industry, with a strong emphasis on operational leadership and team development.
He has held leadership roles at major steel producers across North America and led complex operational expansion projects. Dmitry focuses on driving operational excellence, efficiency, and consistent product quality across Steelscape’s manufacturing facilities.
Michelle Vondran
Product Innovation & Technology Manager
Michelle Vondran leads Steelscape’s product innovation and technology efforts, with extensive experience in paint development and coating application.
She has helped advance energy-efficient cool pigment technologies and industry performance standards. Michelle actively participates in multiple industry associations to keep Steelscape at the forefront of coil coating innovation.
Shelby Courtney
Architectural Specialist
Shelby Courtney has more than 20 years of experience at Steelscape, developing deep knowledge of its products, processes, and people.
She works closely with architects, homeowners, and customers to address technical questions and identify appropriate solutions. Shelby’s expertise and collaborative approach help clearly communicate the Steelscape difference.
