AEP Span offers a range of cold-formed light-gauge purlins ideal for metal building, secondary framing, and solar mounting markets. Commonly used in conjunction with metal siding and roofing products, AEP Span makes it simple for customers to order all metal components at once.

Purlin Configurations
AEP Span’s purlin offer includes a range of Cee, Zee, Channel, and Base Angel configurations in 12, 14, and 16ga thicknesses. Purlins available from 6’ to 50’ in length.
To simply installation complexity, AEP Span offer a range of circle punch and slotted (oval) punch configurations, including placements on web and flange areas. AEP also offers a purlin clip, designed to simplify the attachment of purlin members.

EZ-Form® Structural Sections
AEP Span offers EZ-Form structural sections, as an easy to install solution for light gauge framing needs. Available in a range of sub girt, channel, and hat configurations, EZ-Form is ideal for mansard, rainscreens, equipment screens and fascias.
Available in 20’ galvanized G60 steel sections, EZ-form® can be joined without a separate clip angle, increasing speed, and reducing cost of on-site fabrication. EZ-form structural sections are a cost-effective alternative to structural steel or wood framing.
